Industrial-grade PLCs and I/O integration. The bridge between KNX and complex building management systems.
Learn moreThere is no single “best” product range for every building. A compact apartment, a large home, a hospitality fit-out and an industrial plantroom each place different demands on the control system. We start with the building, the existing wiring, the people using it and the long-term support plan — then specify products that suit that job.
Where a project uses KNX, interoperable products let us combine the strengths of different manufacturers instead of forcing the entire project into one closed ecosystem. That means a sensing specialist, an actuator specialist and a preferred user interface can work together as one considered system.
| Brand | Often specified for | Project fit |
|---|---|---|
| ABB i-Bus | Actuators, gateways and control-room hardware | Larger homes, plantrooms and scalable building control |
| Theben | Presence sensing, time control and HVAC interfaces | Comfort and energy-saving automation logic |
| Zennio | Touch controls and room interfaces | Apartments, hotels and design-led residential spaces |
| Basalte & Gira | Premium switches, keypads and visual interfaces | High-end homes where the control interface matters |
| WAGO | PLC, I/O and metering integration | Energy management and more complex control requirements |
Not when the project is based on an interoperable standard such as KNX. We can select compatible components for their role, then commission them as one complete system. The final specification still needs to be designed as a whole — mixing products without a system plan is not the same thing as interoperability.
Often, yes. We assess what is installed, whether project documentation is available and what outcome you need before recommending repair, extension or migration. For fault-finding and smaller changes, see our automation support service.
As early as possible in a new build or renovation. Lighting types, electrical board space, HVAC equipment, blind motors and user interfaces all affect the automation design. Early coordination gives you more options and avoids expensive late changes.

As a certified KNX Partner, we specify compatible products and build a complete system around the needs of your project.
